Vers Beton, a platform for radical and independent journalism in Rotterdam, commissioned me for the second time to design a campaign to attract donors and subscribers, highlighting the important role of local, independent journalism.

Falling clouds, flying stones: the world seems to be turned upside down, the political situation tense. With the Dutch elections in late October 2025 just around the corner, the focus on free and independent journalism is even more important. Vers Beton is launching the campaign with bright colours under the theme: "Invest in your city!"

This year, all the loud, quiet, rustling and rattling sounds were generated from paper and incorporated into the animations.

The campaign includes print materials, digital banners, stickers and animations for social media and cinemas.
